OVERVIEW

We were approached by CMA to design a Logo/Mascot for their Education Department. The name and animal were chosen by the museum and we were charged with bringing it to life. We had to appeal to the kids who would attend the programs, but we didn’t want to cater to any one age group. Avoiding a cartoon, we came up with Gladys, an assemblage of basic shapes and colors, who appeals to children and adults alike. We equipped her with a large searching eye to emphasize our theme of “curiosity”; the most fundamental catalyst for learning.
